TO HYDRATE +

Designed to help you replenish lost nutrients and quickly rehydrate.

Hydraplay is a superior sports drink meticulously crafted with all Tasmanian products. It is made with Puremist water, sourced from the pristine mist of Southern Tasmania—a region renowned for its purest water. This scientifically formulated isotonic drink is tailor made to provide hydration for athletes.

Similar to conventional sports beverages, Hydraplay includes essential electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, crucial for replenishing what is lost through perspiration during training and competition. What sets Hydraplay apart is its unique composition of electrolytes derived from a blend of natural sources like fruits, manuka honey, and Tasmanian sea salt. This harmonious combination not only enhances the flavour of Hydraplay but also enriches it with a diverse array of nutrients, including Vitamins B1, B2, B3, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, folate and zinc. Hydraplay is free from artificial colours and flavours.

TO RELOAD +

HydraPlay has formulated a set of unique natural ingredients help replace what's been lost during a strenuous workout, namely water, energy (glucose), sodium and potassium.

Sports beverages provide significant advantages in replenishing both the fluids and carbohydrates expended during physical activity. Maintaining optimal hydration status, ensures that athletes can perform their best, with optimal aerobic capacity, muscular endurance, coordination and mental function.

TO SUSTAIN +

A natural combination of natural electrolytes and carbohydrates that provide effective hydration and energy, combined with the award-winning Pure Mist Water, designed to be in equilibrium with your body's fluids to hydrate and provide energy when you need it most.

  • CARBOHYDRATES
Carbohydrates serve as the primary energy source for muscles during moderate to high intensity activities. They are also the preferred fuel for the brain. Since our body has a limited capacity to store carbohydrates, individuals engaged in regular exercise need additional dietary sources to maintain sufficient stores. The carbohydrate in Hydraplay, in the forms of glucose, sucrose and fructose, delays fatigue by topping up the supply of energy for active muscles . 1 By including more than one form of sugar, the sugar and water absorption in the intestines is improved. 2 Hydraplay contains approximately 6-8% carbohydrate, to empty quickly from the stomach and be absorbed efficiently into the bloodstream.

  • Sodium
The sodium added to Hydraplay is Tasmanian sea salt, replacing the salt lost in sweat, enhancing fluid absorption and helping the body retain the ingested fluids (rather than losing large amounts straight away in urine).

  • Dietary Nitrates
The beetroot juice added to Hydraplay, is a rich source of dietary nitrates. Dietary Nitrates enhance the availability of Nitric Oxide, a critical factor in the regulation of blood flow, blood pressure, and muscle contraction. In the context of sports performance, dietary nitrates have the potential to enhance exercise efficiency, facilitate increased oxygen delivery to muscles, and optimise muscle contraction, thereby contributing to improved overall athletic performance.

  • Vitamin C
Some vitamins act also as antioxidants, with vitamin C being one of them in Hydraplay. Vitamin C helps combat oxidative stress induced by physical activity and is vital for collagen synthesis, a key component in the maintenance and repair of connective tissues, such as tendons and ligaments. For athletes, this translates to improved joint health and a reduced risk of injuries. Vitamin C improves the absorption of iron in the body and supports the immune system, helping athletes stay healthy and resilient.

  • Cherry juice
Cherries have been included in our recipe due to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Cherries are a source of polyphenols, melatonin, carotenoids, vitamin E and vitamin C, and naturally contain potassium. Due to these properties, cherries are added to Hydraplay to enhance muscle recovery, and to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress.

  • B vitamins
B vitamins support metabolic processes essential for energy production, muscle function, and recovery. They contribute to the conversion of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into energy, facilitating efficient fuel utilisation during physical activity. Additionally, B vitamins aid in red blood cell formation, promoting oxygen transport to muscles and preventing fatigue. Each B vitamin has its own benefit, with Hydraplay containing a wide range.
